Margaret hails from Portland, Oregon where they first fell in love with Outdoor School as a sixth-grader and student leader. Their passion for outdoor education expanded into the realm of urban farming while getting a Biochemistry degree from the University of Oregon. They love exploring, feeling connected to nature, growing food, and teaching others how they can do the same. They have taught in forests, farms, and gardens throughout the Pacific Northwest. When not at Outdoor School, you might find them trying a new recipe, playing Pokemon Go, or packing a backpack for their next traveling adventure. |

The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are multifaceted drawing on the components of Crosscutting Concepts, Disciplinary Core Ideas and Science and Engineering Practices. All of our curriculum is designed to align with the NGSS and fulfill all three components.
