Expanding on Outdoor School


To make the most of your overnight Outdoor School experience we encourage teachers to incorporate place-based learning experiences throughout the school year with their classes.

Check back here each month for free digital lesson plans and activities that will get students outside and exploring.  These are designed to be used by families and teachers looking to add an outdoor activity to their education program.  Activities are designed for grades 1-5, but can be easily modified for other learners.

Mapping Your Outdoor World
